1. What is biotechnology?

Technology of living organism.

2. Who would benifit from this technology, and what are the advantages?

I think people who would benifit from this technology are:
- People who were borned with out an arm or any other parts of the body.
- People who are disable and suffer from a sickness.
- People that experienced horrible accidents.
Advantages:
- A second chance to have a hand.
- Have better features than a normal hand.


3. Is it ethical to replace human body parts with bio technology?

I think this depends on the person who is taking this surgery. For example, that person lost the hand by accidents or diseases. It is absolutely fine to replace a bio-hand. That person will have a 2nd chance to be like everyone else, as technology grows the bio-hands may even have better features than our normal hand. On the other hand, people that is healthy and have all of their body parts, I think cutting their hands and replace a bio-hand is just nonsense. Why would they even want to cut their hands out when they are healthy. Every person has 2 hands and no more. So, i think it depends... but if someone offer me a cool-tech-bio-hand, i won't accept it. Keeping and using my own hands is perfect.
